Mysticism
Defined:
Mysticism is a philosophical movement away from the understanding of "fixed truth" (the sole authority of Scripture & the relationship of "Word and Spirit"). It is the first step toward embracing the ever growing "spiritual formations" concepts...which is the path of undoing the protestant reformation and entering back into a new dark ages. It is disguised as "spiritual growth" within a "super-spiritualized" new Christianity. The links below reflect the initial steps of mysticism and also include some thoughts on spiritual formations. There will be more on this subject under "focused truth."
